What a great day we had at the Viking workshop. There was a chance to dress up, grind wheat, weave, build wattle walls, play Trip Trap Troll, write in runes and carry chain mail.
We also had the opportunity to look at real Viking artefacts and handle real weapons!
In the afternoon, we learned how to sword fight and made spears!
Today certainly brought our topic to life!
