Today all of our P6 pupils travelled to Belfast to visit the National Football Stadium at Windsor Park.
During our time there we had great fun seeing the stadium, learning all about how football was brought into Northern Ireland, the history of the sport in our country, how the stadium has changed over the years and how the sport is continuing to grow, particularly the women’s game. We finished off our day with a short workshop about healthy eating and how we can stay healthy.
We had a great day and would like to thank our tour guides who did a fantastic job engaging the children and sharing some interesting facts along the way.
