P6 Class Trip to The Ulster Museum

6th Jun 2025

Today our P6 pupils travelled to the Ulster Museum, in Belfast, for their class trip.

Throughout the day we had the opportunity to walk around the various exhibitions, which included: The Ice Age, Vikings, Egyptians and many more. We took part in a Viking workshop, where we got to look at different artefacts, looking at what life was life in Viking times and how their life would have been very different to our life now.

We completed a Discovery Art activity where we looked at various taxidermy animals and had the chance to draw them and feel their skin/fur.

We finished off the day by walking to the Tropical Ravine and the Palm House. At both of these we looked at many different plants and discussed how some of them could be found in rainforests all over the world. Mrs Anderson provided us with some very interesting information and shared her knowledge on the huge variety of plants we could see and touch.
