School is now closed for the EASTER HOLIDAYS - Pupils return to school on Tuesday 14th April. The School Office opens again on Monday 13th April. | ECO DAY is coming on Friday 24th April - we are going to plant sunflowers on Eco Day. Over Easter we ask that everyone looks out a clear 2L bottle. Please wash this and cut the neck of the bottle off before bringing it into school. We have been doing lots of research into potatoes and have found out a variety of different facts as part of our World Around Us theme.

We realised that potatoes can be used to make potato bread, or fadge as it is known in our local area.

Mr McCullough demonstrated how to make potato bread and we used this as the basis for our instructional writing as well.

We all enjoyed the opportunity to taste the bread and agreed that it was delicious! Many of the children said they would like to have eaten more!
