P5MM Egyptian Day!

23rd Oct 2025

We had a brilliant Egyptian Day in P5MM!

The Egyptian outfits were absolutely amazing and some were very creative!

We looked at hieroglyphics and how it is different to our alphabet. We then had a go at writing our name in hieroglyphics which was good fun but a bit tricky.

We also looked at our mummified apple experiment and how it has changed from the start of the week. There are some great predictions in this class as to what will happen to the apple.

We also had great fun coming up with an Egyptian dance along to Egyptian music. We have some great dancers in the classroom! We then went out for some fresh air and some kept the dancing going outside too.

Everyone in P5MM had a great day dressed as Egyptians!
