This morning, we joined an interactive workshop with Young Enterprise, ‘A trip to the city’. Children learned all about saving their money and the importance of budgeting. They got the opportunity to plan their ideal school trip with a £300 budget.
As a class, we chose:
- £100- standard bus with comfy seats, air conditioning and TVs.
- £70- standard food which included chips, chicken nuggets and a drink.
- £100- luxury activity which included a trip to the zoo and adventure world.
We spent our extra £30 on some ice-cream for everyone!
This was a very exciting yet valuable lesson.
