P5JS explore report writing ✏️

During Literacy, we have been exploring report writing. This is a new writing initiative which Miss Simpson introduced to us based on our new school's writing scheme. 


Familiarisation: We explored a range of reports found in real life contexts. We found some in tourist guide books, magazine articles, non-fiction books and information leaflets. This really brought our learning to life! 

Analysing features: Throughout this we looked at a new set of reports and analysed them carefully to identify common features of a report. Based on this, we were provided with a number of polypockets containing different features. We had to read the text within them and identify the features.
