During our visit to the Ulster Museum, we had the opportunity to see some real Canopic Jars. When we returned to school, we thought about making our own jars. We discussed what materials we would need and we designed our jars.
It was very difficult to get the correct shape and make a lid to fit the jar, but were were very pleased with the results. When they are dry we will paint them and add more detail.
