School is now closed for the EASTER HOLIDAYS - Pupils return to school on Tuesday 14th April. The School Office opens again on Monday 13th April. | ECO DAY is coming on Friday 24th April - we are going to plant sunflowers on Eco Day. Over Easter we ask that everyone looks out a clear 2L bottle. Please wash this and cut the neck of the bottle off before bringing it into school. No milk cartons please! | School Holidays 2026 - 2027 are now available under 'PARENTS' area of the website...... School starts for pupils on Thursday 27th August 2026.

As part of our ‘water’ topic we have been carrying out a number of experiments to help us to understand evaporation. We have looked at how different containers can change how quickly water evaporates and also how being in direct sunlight will speed up the rate of evaporation. Today we started making “Rainbow Sugar”. We mixed water and sugar together and added some food colouring. We have left it to evaporate on the windowsill and hopefully in a few days we will have some nice colourful sugar crystals. Mrs Gray might even let us have a taste!!
