P5 Sustrans ‘Pedal Ready’ Cycle Training 🚲

27th Feb 2025

Johnny McCrystal, our Sustrans Active Travel Officer, led a session outdoors with P5 pupils, focusing on fun skills games, aimed at improving coordination, balance and awareness on a bicycle.

We had a fantastic time and learned a lot of new things that we can apply when we are riding a bicycle.

Everyone received a certificate for completing the activities.

Thank you to Johnny and Mrs McCullagh for organising this very worthwhile session!

Take 5 reminds us to ‘be active’ and to ‘keep learning.’ In the UNCRC, Article 31 tells us that ‘All children have a right to relax and play and to join in a wide range of activities.’
