P5 Shared Education Day!

13th Nov 2025

On Thursday 13th November we met with our friends from Mary Queen of Peace PS!

We split into three groups to complete three different activities.

Miss Simpson led on group in an ICT lesson where we looked at our shared space, Cushendall. In pairs we researched photographs of Cushendall before putting them on Just2Easy and printing them off. This will be brilliant when we go to visit Cushendall with Mary Queen of Peace later on in the year. We all had a fantastic time in our pairs!

Mrs O'Mullan led an Anti-Bullying workshop which was brilliant! We had excellent discussion on what to do if you see bullying behaviours, and we had some amazing real playing scenarios too!

Mrs Duffin took another group to experiment with Spheros. Each group used an ipad to control their Spheros ball through a path they created towards an Egyptian artefact. Everyone had a great time problem-solving at this activity!

We had a super day with Mary Queen of Peace and we can't wait to meet up with them again! We have already made lots of brilliant friends and can't wait to develop these further!
