We had a fantastic day at Portrush learning and looking for wildlife in our oceans!
We learned lots at the Coastal Zone with Michael who showed us some lobsters, sharks and shark eggs that will hatch next year! We also were one of the first to see their new exhibit on the thresher shark! We also got to watch a video about the importance of our oceans with David Attenborough!
We also had a great time with Mrs Anderson who was teaching us all about the wildlife we can find in rock pools! We took some nets and buckets and had a go ourselves. We found lots of different types of seaweed, some hermit crabs, shrimps and even fish!
After we enjoyed our lunch outside we went to get an ice cream and had a great time in the play park! Before we knew it, it was time to head back to school!
