P5 Eco Day Activities👩‍🌾👨‍🌾

1st May 2025

What a brilliant day of learning we have had for our annual Eco Day!

In addition to coming into school dressed in green, we had lots of different activities that taught us more about the environment.

We planted sunflower seeds and can’t wait to see how tall they grow! We heard from the USPCA and the role that they have in helping animals. It was lovely to make use of the Outdoor Classroom for our Keeping Safe lesson. Pollinators are an important part of our Eco Cycle and we learned about how moths can be great pollinators. Our day concluded with Mrs Anderson helping us to prepare our P5 boxes with different plants and themes.

Thank you to Miss Simpson and Mrs Anderson for organising such a range of different activities. Take 5 reminds us to Take Notice and to Be Active - key aspects of our Eco Day!
