In Literacy, we have been learning about instructional writing. We used our knowledge of imperative (bossy) verbs and time connectives to write a list of instructions entitled ‘How to make a fruit kebab’. We listed our materials and numbered a list of instructions for us to follow. Then, we put our instructions to the test and made our own fruit kebabs, making sure we followed the instructions we had made. Our instructions must have been perfect, as we ended up with 30 tasty fruit kebabs!
