Today is the 25th World Book Day! We had a fantastic day dressed up as our favourite book characters. We talked about who we were dressed up as today and why we had chosen them. Then we wrote about our costume and drew a picture of it. We thought about the Rights we have that allow us to enjoy coming to school and reading books. Mrs McLarnon talked to us about these in assembly yesterday. We enjoyed learning more about books, authors and illustrators on Newsdesk. We watched a read aloud book while we ate our lunch! After lunch we read to a friend from Mrs McLaughlin's class. Have a look at what we were doing in our photos below.
