Summer Assessments continue this week - (see more details in Parentmail sent on Weds 22nd April) All P3 -P7 pupils will be taking Standardised Tests in Literacy and Numeracy and will be timetabled to sit these tests in the ICT Suite - please make sure your child is in school each day during this assessment period. P4JC trip to W5

What a great day all the P4’s had at W5 with our friends from Mary Queen of Peace. We went to a workshop called A Little Bit of Music where we found out about different types of sounds and tried out a drum and rainmaker. We sang along to a boomwhacker version of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. Then we conducted some songs with ribbon batons. Lastly we got to make working electric guitars using Little Bits kits. It was fantastic! Next it was time for Climbit. We were very brave and had lots of fun climbing so high! Then we visited the exhibits which were all linked to Science and experiments, where we had great fun and we found out lots of facts. One of the favourites was a pulley and lever system which rang a bell! We had lunch and went to another exhibit before heading home on the bus.
