P4JC Roald Dahl Day

13th Sep 2025
In P4 we have been reading 'The Enormous Crocodile' by Roald Dahl.

We have enjoyed all the secret plans and clever tricks the Enormous Crocodile came up with, but liked how the other animals - Humpy Rumpy the Hippopotamus, Trunky the Elephant, Muggle-Wump the Monkey and the Roly Poly Bird - all helped the children avoid being eaten by the Enormous Crocodile! We really enjoyed the ending - ask us what happens if you don't already know!

On Friday we celebrated Roald Dahl Day by watching an animation of the story, thinking about the characters and making our own Roly Poly Birds to add to our Enormous Crocodile Display.
