P4JC Road Safety Week πŸš— 🚲 πŸšΆβ€β™‚οΈ 🚦

24th Nov 2023

This week it is Road Safety Week. We have been thinking and learning about how important it is to be able to safely and correctly cross the road. We looked at the Green Cross Code and went outside to have a go at safely crossing our School road and Zebra crossing too. We used the Road Safety Calendar to help us learn more about staying safe near roads and traffic. The message for this week was ‘Be Safe, Be Seen’. We looked at how important it is to wear bright clothes and other accessories like hi-vis jackets outside because the mornings and evenings are getting darker as winter approaches. Ask us to tell you how to cross the road and some other things we learnt this week.
