P4JC Minecraft Education - Mondrian Houses

7th Apr 2025

We have been coding using Minecraft Education on our last few visits to the ICT Suite.

We have all been very excited to be able to sign in to Minecraft Education and made a new World to design and build a Mondrian - inspired house.

This has been a fantastic celebration of our learning in our theme 'Home Sweet Home' and links well to our Take 5 area of 'Keep Learning'.

We have designed houses with many of the features we have been learning about in TWAU.

This has also linked to our work in the Arts where we have been looking at paintings by the Artist Piet Mondrian.

Mondrian used lines and blocks of colour using red, yellow, blue, white and black - so we are making our houses using mainly these colours too.

Have a look at how we have been getting on - we think you will be impressed!
