P4JC Children's Mental Health Week

10th Feb 2025

This week for Children's Mental Health Week in P4JC we have been thinking about the theme ‘Know Yourself, Grow Yourself’.

We enjoyed lots of activities throughout the week, also linked to our Take 5 initiative, where we were able to connect with our friends, be active by joining in with Gary for an online PE session and we were also able to take notice of our surroundings with mindfulness activities.

We enjoyed reading Ruby's Worry as we have been learning about our emotions and talked about what we can do if our feelings get too much, which Amber and Bamber can help us with too.

Finally we were very happy to complete some lovely Mondrian related 'Heart art' to take home to give to our loved ones for Valentine's Day!

Our activities this week also link to several articles from The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child - Articles 3, 12 and 31.
