P4JC Celebrate World Book Day! 📚

5th Mar 2026

Today was World Book Day and P4JC had a fantastic day!

Everyone brought in their fantastic wooden spoon book characters - well done!

We had books and photos of us reading in unusual places as well.

We read a Supertato book and then designed and wrote about our favourite book characters.

It was raining at breaktime so we even got to watch an episode of Supertato too!

After break Mrs McCullagh’s P7’s came to read to us. We really enjoyed listening to them read us a book.

After lunch we went to Mrs McMillan’s class to read to the P1’s. We were very excited and they listened to us so well.

Miss Crawford read the start of Roald Dahl’s The Twits and some of us aren’t too sure what to think about Mr Twit just yet!

We are looking forward to going to the Book Fair on Monday.
