P4JC Amber and Sinead Week 3

22nd Feb 2025

This week with Amber and Sinead we went to the hall and did lots of activities to do with our breathing.

We began with some breathing exercises standing in a circle. Then we took turns with the breathing ball. These exercises can help us relax our bodies if we have a worry or are feeling anxious.

We got into pairs and each had a straw to blow a ping pong ball backwards and forwards towards each other to help us learn how to control our breathing.

Then we were very excited when Sinead gave each of us a blow ball basket toy where we had to blow into the pipe section to lift the ball out of the basket and then try to catch it back in the basket again. We had great fun trying to see who could lift the ball the highest with out it falling!

Next Sinead gave everyone a Kazoo... have a look at our video below!

At the end Sinead read us the next Amber story called Breathe with Amber.

We enjoyed learning about our breathing and are looking forward to next week already!
