P4JC Wee Critters Visit 🕷️ 🐞 🐛
19th Jun 2026
As part of our topic ‘It’s a Bug’s Life,’ this afternoon Allan from Wee Critters came to visit with lots of his animal friends.
First we met a Madagascan Hissing Cockroach, then a Tarantula and next a Toad who likes to eat minibeasts!
Then Allan talked to us about the lifecycle of a Butterfly.
After that, we met an African Millipede, a Milk Snake, and a Giant Hooded Katydid which is a grasshopper. It has very good camouflage as it’s wings look like leaves!
Our last wee critter was a three banded Armadillo from South America.
We had lots of questions and Allan gave us very interesting answers.
We had a great afternoon with Wee Critters!
