Today we went to Arthur Cottage in Cullybackey. We had such a great time and learned so much about life in the past.
The lady explained that the fire in the cottage was used for light, to heat water, to cook and to keep warm. We saw how the griddle was used to make bread and we also got to taste some freshly made soda bread, it was delicious! 😋
After that we got to see the lady using a spinning wheel to spin thread.
We took our class dog 'Amber' on our trip with us today, look at all the things she got up to!
