P3SG learn about World Children’s Day 🌎

18th Nov 2022

Today we discussed ‘World Children’s Day’ which is on Sunday 20th of November. We talked about some of the ‘Rights of a Child’ and learned that these are things that every child should have or be able to do. We learned that there are 54 rights which make up the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. We discussed how some children in the world do not have these rights met and how we have all seen or heard of someone in the news or on TV who does not have good food, a good education, clothing or a safe place to live. We thought of some ways that we can help and protect children who are in need. We decided to do some collaborative art for World Children’s Day which we all really enjoyed.
