We are learning about groupings/repeated addition and making a start to multiplication. It was a beautiful day so we took ourselves outside with our whiteboards and pens, some sorting rings and cubes to make groups of numbers. We were able to show our answers in 4 different ways- e.g. 3 groups of 4, 3 X 4, 4+4+4 and practically by putting 4 cubes into 3 sorting rings.
