P2 LA World Book Day!

5th Mar 2026

What a World Book Day we had today!

We started off doing some Fairytale Problem Solving. Then we made a tally chart and a graph to show which fairy tale book was our favourite. Just before break we had a real treat when P5 KM came down to read to us all!

We really enjoyed reading the story of ‘What the Ladybird Heard’ and then making our own story books. In the afternoon, we made the Ladybird from the story!

Everyone made such an effort with decorating their wooden spoon as their favourite character from a book and sending in their photographs of them reading! Thank you!

Have a look at our pictures!
