P2 LA Pirate Day!

21st Mar 2023

We have all really enjoyed coming to school today dressed as pirates! We loved all of the fantastic pirate costumes and all of the swords, maps, hooks and bears that came along with the costumes!

As we arrived into school, we took a photo of our partner with the Green Screen background. Mrs Archibald then added the photos to a pirate background so it looks like we are real pirates aboard a ship or treasure island.

Then we started our day looking at our Beebot treasure map, doing some pirate problem solving and going on a treasure hunt around the school.

After break we sang our favourite pirate song and read a book all about Pirates. We really enjoyed our Learning through Play before lunch and spent some time after lunch writing about our day as Pirates.

Have a look at all of our photos!
