P2 EG/VM World Book Day

2nd Mar 2023

WOW!!!  What an AMAZING display of potatoes you all created for today's World Book Day! We were just blown away this morning by all your efforts and artistic talents. Thank you so much for all that hard work and to mums and dads and any other helpers who offered assistance, we thank you too! I'm sure you will agree when you look at our photos that you all did yourselves proud today.

We had a fantastic and busy World Book Day. The morning was filled with lots of excitement around our potato characters, talking about the books you all got your inspiration from.

After break, it was very exciting to join Mary Queen of Peace online together with Mrs Archibald's class when we got to hear the story 'What the ladybird heard'. Afterwards, we all made some ladybirds! Again, what an amazing job you all did!

Also today, we created a graph to represent our favourite Fairytale Story. The firm favourite in our class was Snow White and the Seven Dwarves.

Well done to everyone for taking part so enthusiastically in all of today's activities. We look forward to visiting the Book Fair tomorrow.
