Our Trevor - BBC 'Meet the Great Neighbour Award' finalist

16th Sep 2025

On the 4th September Miss Scott, our Vice-Principal, shared the news with our school community that Trevor, our Lollipop Man, had made it to the final 3 of the BBC 'Great Neighbour Award'. See 'NEWS' https://www.camphillps.co.uk/news-a/news/trevors-award-nomination/

Miss Scott nominated Trevor back in early 2025 and was delighted to find out that the BBC were wanting to speak with Trevor in school at the beginning of July.  Staff members welcomed Trevor and his family and friends into school to hear the news about becoming a finalist and being invited to the awards ceremony at BBC on Friday 26th September. We are now encouraging everyone in our school community to view the post below on social media and comment on the thread that he definitely is our winner!
