Our gift of kindness to the children of Kenya!

15th Oct 2018

Back in the glorious sunshine at the end of June lots of parents donated ‘old school uniform’ to be taken to Kenya via the charity ‘Mission Africa’.  We got the lovely news that our uniform was so gratefully received by the children of Kikuyu which is 15 miles north of Nairobi. The children who received our uniform are all orphaned or abandoned and will walk up to 2 hours to get to school so getting a jumper and polo shirt was the most wonderful gift gratefully received by each and every child.  Have a look through the photos to see the delight in their faces when the team from ‘Mission Africa’ arrived to hand out uniform!!

Isn’t it great to see our ‘old uniform’ giving someone else ‘a chance’!!
