Our First Few Days In P3SG

29th Aug 2021

We have been settling well into our new class and everyone has been working hard. One of our 1st activities this week was sharing together the big book ‘The Huge Bag Of Worries’. We spent some time afterwards thinking about who we can talk to if we have a worry. We drew a picture of the person that we would talk to about our worries on to hearts which we are going to use to make a lovely display in our classroom.

We also designed a little ‘Worry’ character and we are going to keep these in our tidy trays. If we have a worry that is really bothering us we can post these into our class Worry Box. Mrs Glendinning will check this box each day and have a chat with anyone who has a worry. We learned from our story that it is best to talk about our worries.

We have also been thinking about how the tree is a plant. We went outside to look at a tree and afterwards we came back to the classroom and labelled the different parts of the tree. We hope you enjoy looking at our pictures below.
