Numeracy Day 2023

19th Oct 2023

We have had a range of fantastic activities to celebrate Numeracy Day 2023! Class activities were practical, fun and engaging. Please take time to look at individual classes for more photographs along with further explanation of the activities.

Thank you to parents and friends for organising such a fantastic array of costumes linked to Numeracy, which the children took real pride in wearing and explaining to their classes.

We would also like to thank the visitors who took the time to come in and talk to the classes about how they use Numeracy in their jobs. These include Alison Taylor (School Cook), Jayne Davis (Teacher), Nikki Ferguson (School Secretary, ex buyer from Primark), Tracy Wallace (Slemish n' tha Braid Credit Union), Thomas McKillen (McKillens of Ballymena), Sarah Simpson (Simpsons Pharmacy) and Gordon Montgomery (MCC Computers).

Your support for this initiative is much appreciated!
