Numeracy

We did lots of thinking today about  British coins. Using the whiteboard, we were able to label coins and make up amounts of money using the least number of coins. Interestingly, we discovered there are lots of ways adults can use to pay for bills/items. We will be doing a lot of work around financial capabllity focusing on the concepts of save and spend- life skills we all need!

Literacy

Using the photographs we brought in last week, we wrote about our favourite day from Summer 2019. It was really interesting listening to each other’s account and hearing about places we may not have visited.  We tried our best to remember to use capital letters and full stops correctly and reviewed our work to check for spelling mistakes.
