Our focus for discussion  this week is The Best Learners Ask Lots of Questions.

When do we ever consider what a question really is and how they help us solve every problem and guide every decision we make in life? This seems like a very deep concept for Primary Four children to tackle. But tackle it they did!! We broke up into groups and considered the following questions.

What is a question?

Why do we ask questions?

Who asks questions?

List some question words/terms.

We collated and discussed our ideas and thoughts. Then we chose a book and formulated some questions we would like answered from looking at the cover.

Good thinking P4!

In Numeracy we did some work on counting from different numbers and sequences within 100.

We are going to spend this afternoon making  Season Wheels to represent the seasons pictorially. We will show them to you tomorrow. Our day will conclude with a visit to the ICT suite.

We have a very interesting homework tonight. In order for each of us to make a personal timeline ,we are going to ask an adult at home to help us record some details about us. It could be the year we started nursery or school or the year we went on a fantastic trip. Again, we will display the finished articles.
