On Wednesday 26th November, Mrs. McMaster, our Principal, joined fellow local school leaders for an important meeting focused on the impact of counselling and therapeutic support in schools.
The discussion highlighted the incredible difference these services are making—not only for children’s wellbeing and learning but also for their families. By sharing experiences and outcomes, schools are working together to ensure every child has the support they need to thrive.
The Minister, Gordon Lyons was so impressed with the service across the schools that he confirmed funding for a further school year. The renewed funding ensures continuity of support and has been widely welcomed by the schools.
