Marvellous Measuring by P4JC

14th Jan 2022

P4JC had great fun learning how to measure length. First we estimated and then measured using different non-standard units - paper clips, cubes, fingers, forearms and handspans! It was very enjoyable but we soon discovered we had different answers when measuring with body parts as all our bodies are different. So we found out that it is important to have a standard unit to measure things. We really enjoyed learning how to measure in centimetres using our rulers!
