Little Healthy Me - P3SG

6th Oct 2021

Today we had a visitor to our classroom, called Rachel, from Action Mental Health. We learned how we can keep our bodies and minds healthy. We did some breathing exercises like ‘Rainbow breathing’ and we learned that concentrating on our breathing can really help us to be more calm. We also listened to a story called ‘Lucy’s Blue Day’ which also helped us to understand different ways that we can deal with different emotions. Lastly we played a fun game of charades where people were chosen to act out different emotions and the rest of the class had to guess what emotion they were showing. We are all looking forward to the next 2 sessions with Rachel.
