'Jingle All The Way' to school challenge!

1st Dec 2017

As part of our Sustrans Silver Award we are encouraging all children to travel actively to school over the next fortnight, beginning Monday 4th December and ending Friday 15th December on our Christmas jumper day. The theme this term is 'Jingle All The Way' to school! Children can walk, scoot, cycle or make a 'combo' journey where they can get dropped off a short distance from school and make the rest of their journey on foot. Each child will receive a stamp sheet which they will get stamped each time they make an active journey. The aim is for everyone to try and make 10 active journeys out of a possible 20 over the course of the challenge. Each child who completes 10 journeys will receive a certificate and be entered into a class draw to win a prize!

Last year, in the summer term, we completed 2,636 active journeys and are trying to see if we can beat this total! We hope everyone has lots of fun joining in with the challenge!
