The Irish Minor School Championships 2023 took place on Saturday 25^th March at the Sport Ireland National Aquatic Centre, Dublin. Phoebe Greer in P6 qualified for this national swimming event back in October and travelled to Dublin to compete against young swimmers from Primary Schools across the whole of the North and South of Ireland.

Phoebe swam with great determination and her dedication and commitment to hours spent training in the pool every week was visible in her performance. She maintained her personal best in her favourite stroke butterfly and secured 19^th place overall. In the 50m backstroke Phoebe managed to reach the final by shaving 6sec of her PB and taking brilliant 10^thplace!!

Well done, Phoebe!
