Eco trip to Greenmount 💚

29th May 2025

What a wonderful day we had on our trip to Greenmount today! We got to take part in lots of exciting activities including:

- Pond scooping- We scooped a range of creatures out of the pond and used a magnifying glass and chart to identify them.

- Mini beast hunt- We searched around the grounds of Greenmount to find and identify as many different mini beasts as we could. A few of us got very muddy in the process! 🔍

- Bird watch- We stopped in time to listen to the birds singing. Marie, our guide, used a special app to tell us which type of bird was calling. 🐦‍⬛

- Gardens and greenhouse- It was great to see the grounds of Greenmount throughout the day, including their lovely gardens and wonderful crops growing in the greenhouse. We also had the opportunity to complete the maze, this was lots of fun! 🍓

Thank you to Greenmount for having us and broadening our Eco knowledge in a range of areas! We thoroughly enjoyed today, which is evident through our smiley faces and muddy clothes!
