This Friday we have a full day of ECO activities planned for the whole school..... there will be lots of planting going on where all classes will be involved in planting out their Year group garden box along with planting sunflower seeds. In classrooms there will be talks going on from Mid & East Antrim Council, there will be an introduction to pollinators, talks on honeybees, lifecycles and much much more. All classes will be involved in Wildflower walks and some year groups will be involved in finishing off the planting of trees around our new Outdoor Classroom up at the back of the school. All pupils should come to school this Friday in old clothes as they will be getting 'hands on' and as it is ECO DAY if they have any older green clothes we would encourage as many boys & girls as possible to WEAR GREEN on the day!
