Eco Day in P7

13th Apr 2018

During our activities for school Eco Day, the P7 classes had the opportunity to listen to a talk on waste and recycling given by Barry from the local council. Everyone enjoyed recycling their cereal boxes to make pencil cases and creating mini windmills for the garden.

The children learned about how children in other countries in Europe travel to school and how that differs to methods of transport in our country.

Charlotte helped the P7s to plant potatoes, as well as carrots and turnips, in the year group trough box.  A great day was had by all; everyone really enjoyed the Eco activities and learned how to treat our environment with kindness and respect.
