The Eco Club have been meeting over the last 2 weeks to prepare the school grounds for the autumn/winter season. The pupils were busy collecting leaves, cutting back the apple trees, harvesting the vegetables from the eco boxes, tidying up the green areas and also were making lard balls for the birds to feast on throughout autumn/winter.
A highlight was using the Vegetables with the P7s to make tasty warm vegetable soup! What a treat!
A good start was made by the Team and we look forward to planting trees on the 13th December with Mid & East Antrim Council.
