Today we were delighted to welcome Paula from Dogs’ Trust. We took part in a whole school assembly to introduce the 3 C’s concept.
C- Check- It is important to check with the dog’s owner if it is friendly.
C- Call- If the dog’s owner indicates it is friendly, we call the dog.
C- Count- If the dog chooses to come over to us, we can pet it on the back and count 1,2,3.
We then took part in a P5 workshop with Paula to learn about giving dogs a choice and their wonderful senses. This made us think about how we should act around dogs. Ask us about our promise cards!
