Ditch the Dark Day Dress Up!

24th Oct 2023

This Friday sees the return of one of our favourite dress up days, Ditch the Dark Day! We are asking all of our children to wear their brigthest and wackiest clothing with the aim of being seen. You can choose to wear bright colours, wigs, have bright hairsytles, bright accessories, the choice is yours!

As part of our involvement with Sustrans, we enjoy educating our children on the importance of Road Safety and being seen when we are out and about on our travels. This becomes even more important coming in to the Autumn and Winter months, when it is dark outside on our journeys to school.

We have attached some previous Ditch the Dark Day photos for you to have a look at for some inspiration. We can't wait to see all of you on Friday morning! Will all of the teachers need to wear our sunglasses?
