Daniel's Super Sunflower!

17th Sep 2025

Daniel, in P7AS, received a sunflower seed last year when he was in Primary 6.  At the time, he never expected it to grow so tall! It started off in a pot, but as it kept growing, he had to replant it into the soil. During some strong winds, he even had to tie it to the wall to keep it safe and standing strong.

Daniel's sunflower has now grown to an incredible 277cm, about 9 feet tall!  This is amazing!

Daniel's family, and everyone at Camphill, is very proud of how well it’s done and Daniel has absolutely loved looking after it.
