Colour Run 2023

23rd Jun 2023

Oh what a night!

Colour, fun, food and dancing!

On Thursday 22nd June approx. 340 pupils returned to school for an evening of laughter and fun by taking part in a Colour run around the school building..... the route started from the P7 playground, out to the playpark, on to the P2 playground, passing the P1 area all before returning to the Key Stage 2 playground and making their way up to the back field before finishing down onto the P7 playground again! What a run!

The Tshirts started off white but check out the photos below to see how by the end everyone was no longer wearing a white Tshirt! So many laughs and so many happy children!

Thank you to all the parents for supporting this school fundraiser - we made £885.00 profit after all tshirts/colour powder/bread rolls and water were purchased.  A big thank you to K&G McAtamney, Greenvale Street for sponsoring the sausages for all the pupils and to Alison our School Cook for cooking them all.  Thank you also to our group of Parent Helpers who came along and did all the throwing of powder at the stations - have a look at their end group photo!!

Finally, a big thank you to all the staff who helped in lots of different ways to make the evening a success - lots of staff were involved in the preparation to the run up to the event and on the night - so thank you.

Most importantly however our pupils had the best night and lots of smiling faces are to be seen in the photos and videos below.......
