Summer Assessments take place over these next 3 weeks - starting on Monday 27th April..... (see more details in Parentmail sent on Weds 22nd April) All P3 -P7 pupils will be taking Standardised Tests in Literacy and Numeracy and will be timetabled to sit these tests in the ICT Suite - please make sure your child is in school each day during this assessment period. Children's Mental Health Week in P3SG

Today marks the start of Children's Mental Health Week 2024. This year the theme is 'My Voice Matters'. Today we participated in a range of activities to encourage us to think more carefully about our mental health. We started off by looking at a power point called 'My Voice Matters'. Our School Council representatives Dylan and Sophie shared an information page with the class telling us how we can make ourselves heard and who we can talk to about our feelings. After this we completed a short 'imoves' session, the focus today was 'I can do better'. During this session we did some yoya moves to help us to develop resilience by encouraging us to be the best we can be. We plan to complete an 'imoves' session each day this week. We also talked about self-care and the type of activities we can do to make us feel good. We spent some time this afternoon doing some mindfulness colouring and made some lovely bookmarks.
