Accelerated Reader Awards

26th Feb 2019

We had our second Accelerated Reader (AR) awards today and were delighted to see another large group of children being presented with certificates. In P5-P7 we had eight children who had reached their points target since the last awards and a further ten who had now passed their advanced target and received the Principal's award. It was also great to welcome three more children into the 'Word Millionaire' club - well done!

Not to be outdone, we also had our first winners from P4. They joined the scheme later in the year and have a different points target to the other classes, so should soon catch up with the amount of certificate winners. Today saw the first three recipients, with one already having achieved the Principal's award! So P4 keep reading and passing quizzes and it might be your turn to receive a prize in Assembly next.
